This coffee grinder was used in the qathet region during the 1920s.

Manual coffee grinders like this were common before the days of electric grinders and pre-ground coffee. Whole coffee beans would be put in the hole at the top. The handle would then be turned, which would grind them into the drawer at the bottom.
