The qathet Museum and Archives board stands firm in its commitment to truth, reconciliation, and the respectful representation of Indigenous histories. In response to the growing rise of anti-Indigenous racism, residential school denialism, and genocide denialism in our community we have joined with other museums and organizations to denounce these harmful movements. This document outlines our position, expresses our solidarity with Indigenous communities, and affirms our commitment to resisting these harmful movements. We believe in the power of truth, education, and community engagement as we work toward a more just and respectful future for all.
